Color Sketches in Sketchbook Pro on iPad
Next week we will be creating acrylic paintings on canvas. In preparation for the paintings, I thought it might be fun to start the project be creating color sketches in Sketchbook Pro on the iPad.
Each students created a line drawing using pencil in their sketchbooks. Next, used the cameras on the iPads to take pictures of these sketches. Then we imported the pictures into Sketchbook Pro.
Now we have a color sketch of what we want our acrylic paintings to look like. Nice!

Perspective Game Drawings : Part 2
Last week Art One started a lesson in Perspective. We set up games and had fun both playing and drawing the games... well, we mostly played the games... but after a while, we did eventually start one and two point perspective drawings of the games we played.
This week, we are adding color to our game drawings. We are starting with a light wash of watercolor. Later in the week we will add color pencils for a perspective and mixed media extravaganza!
Meanwhile, here are some of drawings in the works...
