Mosiac Maps Explained

The art one class soon will be creating Bricks to Pixels murals in chalk and pastels. The first step in making this art is to create a map in which to follow.



Since this can be a little confusing, I thought I would create a video that demonstrated the process step by step.

Diet Coke & Mentos: Part 2

Remember last week when the Computer Art class went out and dropped mentos into diet coke? Well, this week we combined all those lovely photos into a nifty composition.

The official project name was What Came Out. However, only a few students stuck to the topic. Others took a more liberal approach to the project title's interpretation.

Along with exploring value scale though an interesting, if not difficult to work with medium, students also learned a little art history and gained a few PhotoShop skills.
