Cinemagraphs are still photographs in which a minor and repeated
movement occurs. Our Computer Art class created these cinemagraphs in
PhotoShop to give the illusion that the viewer is watching a video.

Oh The Places We Will Go!
Ms. Rossi's Drawing class used the theme "Oh the Places We Will Go!" to
develop a pen and ink drawing. Students were introduced to different pen
and ink techniques along with techniques in the application of markers
and watercolors. Students were encouraged to incorporate what they
learned in a final composition that represents this theme. They had fun
using color and black and white media.
Stencil Self Portraits
Layering the pieces helped show the positive and negative space. This project was successful for all ranges of art students.

123D Creature
The Computer Art class took the day and went to the Media Center to check out the new 3d iPad app called 123D Creature. This program is a little tricky to get used to.
First, you pull and shape you creature.. then you bake and sculpt your creature, then you paint and add texture to your creature and finally you can position and photo your creature..
So lesson learned, you could probably spend more than a day working with this app.

Intertextuality : Complete
Intertextuality is the shaping of a text meaning by another text. In Art Three we created these works incorporating the concept of Intertextuality by shaping the meaning of an
image with another image. Here are some of the final pieces...
The fish used in the first project were taken out of the
bottle immediately after the photo was taken and placed in our 10 gallon, class
fish tank where they will spend the rest of their lives happy and free to eat
as much fish food as they like..
