Gift Card Design Challenge

After completing a tutorial or two on fonts and brushes, the computer art class was tasked with designing gift cards using a limited color palette and of course, custom brushes.

Created these light graffiti paintings using a long camera exposure and some big, fat glow sticks.

Stencils.. They're not just for breakfast anymore.. or, uh spray paint. They work really well when painting with light. This is our first round of light graffiti painting. The first three images were actually painted using a cellphone. The rest were painted with glow sticks.

 

Disney Mashup Magazine Cover!

Previously in Computer Art, we create a Disney Mashup. The next assignment the students got went something like this... 

Congratulations! Your Disney Mashup character just made the cover of a magazine! Which magazine? IDK, that’s your job! Here’s the assignment. 

Objective: Create a magazine cover for a target audience that features your Disney mashup character!
