Three Object, a Bottle of Diet Coke and Mentos

First, we went outside and photographed a few packs of Mentos being dropped into a few litters of Diet Coke. Then the assignment, take three photos of one object. Incorporate the soda splats to create a composition that uses a particular color theme (monochromatic, complimentary, etc). Here are some of the results...

Elements of Art: Balloons

OK, here is the set up.

Your group will have 60 minutes to create a sculpture out of balloons. When you create your sculpture, you must purposely use one of the elements of art (line, color, value, shape, form, texture) to elicit a reaction from the viewer...

More Masking Tape Street Art

Each month, After Art meets to discuss what street art project they will tackle that month. for our first month, we thought we would keep it simple and inexpensive... Masking Tape.

I'm pretty sure the last thing I said to the group right before they left was, "Don't do anything to get yourselves arrested." Though this is some cool masking tape street art, the cop didn't think so and kindly asked them to remove the tape. Lesson learned: Always best to ask permission before you tape. See you next month.
